Turquoise & Brass Vanity

Hello all.  I know its been a while.  The past several week have been crazy!  I flew to New Orleans one weekend then the next weekend we were out of town for a family reunion then I have had company at the house this week.  The blog posts have been lacking but the work has not.  I have some fun makeovers to show you over the next week starting with one of my favorite makeovers of all time.

This vanity belongs to my friend Heather.  It is a gorgeous piece but it did need some help.  The clear coat was falling off, there were some water marks, chips in the veneer and an overall lack of wow factor.

She has been dreaming of it in turquoise to go with her beautiful guest room.  Last week, I had time to help Heather give the vanity a new look.


As always with older pieces like this, I checked for the pulls to be real brass.  And they were!!!


Here are a few after shots.  Tomorrow I am going to show you her entire guest room.  Its so fun and cute.

 Isn't it great?!?!?!  I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the color and the brass pulls are the perfect compliment.  Here is a side by side before and after.
